OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. CONTEST DESCRIPTION: The Barstool Sports^® x Cheez-It^TM Student Fan of the Year Contest (the “Contest”) takes place from 9/20/25 to 10/25/25 (the “Contest Period”). The Contest Period will consist of several event dates (each, an “Event Date”) throughout the Contest Period for each participating University taking place as follows:

Each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Kellanova (“Sponsor”), which shall be final and binding in all respects.

2. ELIGIBILITY:  Participation is open only to legal U.S. residents residing in the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and are enrolled as a full-time student at one of the participating Universities.  Employees of Kellanova, Barstool Sports, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies (“Contest Entities”), and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate.  Contest is void where prohibited by law.

3. HOW IT WORKS:

During the Activation Date associated with a participant’s University, representatives of Sponsor will select three (3) eligible participants from the University who, in their sole opinion, exude school spirit to participate in a competition consisting of four (4) – five (5) individual challenges (each, a “Challenge” and collectively, the “Challenges”) on the Event Date corresponding to their University that will test the participant’s physical and mental skill (“Event”). 

Prior to participating in an Event, each of the selected participants must execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and, a Publicity Release and other related documents required by the Sponsor (the “Winner’s Documents”), prior to participating in the Event.  If any potential participant is found to be ineligible or if they have not complied with these Official Rules; or does not complete and return the Winner’s Documents prior to participation, such participant will be disqualified and an alternate participant may be selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

At each Event, the confirmed participants will be required to complete the Challenges and the individual at each University who gets the highest combined score in all of the Events combined will be the winner for that University and receive a Prize (as defined below).  All participants must be present at their Event and complete all of the individual events.  In the event of a tie between any participants, the tied participant with the highest score in the “Cheez-It Gauntlet” Challenge will be the declared the Prize winner from among the tied participants.  Sponsor reserves the right to hold an Event on a different date at its sole discretion.  Rules of participation for each Challenge will be presented to the participants at each Event.  Sponsor’s decisions are final as to the rules and outcome of the Challenges.

4. PUBLICITY RELEASE:  By participating in the Contest, in addition to any other rights which may be granted in any other agreement entered into between Sponsor and any participant in the Contest, each participant irrevocably grants the Sponsor and its designees and their respective successors, assigns and licensees, the right to use such participant’s name, likeness, and biographical information in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation, advertising and promotional purposes as well as in, on or in connection with any website, the Contest or other promotions, and hereby releases the Sponsor, its designees and their respective successors, assigns and licensees from any liability with respect thereto. 

5. PRIZES:  Four (4) Prizes are available (one (1) Prize per University Event).  Each Prize consists of a $10,000 scholarship (“Prize”).  Participants are solely responsible for complying with NCAA rules and regulations in connection with acceptance of the Prize.  The scholarship check will be made payable directly to the University on the winner’s behalf.  Scholarship must be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies and/or equipment required for study for the 2025 - 2026 school year.  If Sponsor is unable to verify to its satisfaction that the winner is successfully enrolled in the University in the 2025 - 2026 school year, then the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety with no further obligation to the Prize winner.

6. GENERAL:  Potential Prize winner will be required to sign and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release within seven (7) days after first notification attempt.  If prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited.  No substitutions or transfer of prize permitted except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that an offered prize is unavailable.  Participants agree that the Contest Entities shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity, or from a winner’s acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize.  Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsman-like or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  In the event fewer than three (3) participants show up to participate in an Event or Sponsor is prevented from awarding prize or continuing with the Contest as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest.  If the Contest is terminated for any reason before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the potential winners in a manner that is in the spirit of these Official Rules and determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  These Official Rules cannot be modified or amended in any way except in a written document issued in accordance with the law by a duly authorized representative of Sponsor.  The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.  In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

8. GOVERNING LAW: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OR CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS.

9. WINNER’S LIST: For names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 envelope by 12/31/25 to: Barstool Sports^® x Cheez-It^TM Student Fan of the Year Contest, Attn: Winner’s List, P.O. Box 7999, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-7999.  Winner’s list to be available after 10/31/25.
